Sunday School

Sunday School happens for children Sunday mornings at 10:00am.  We have groups for children ages from birth to older elementary.  
Classes are located in the bottom floor of Epworth.  
We have important discussions with our children about faith, our teachers are knowledgeable and encourage kids to think and grow as they share lessons from the bible, and faith principles.
We also provide a nursery option during our worship services.  We have a children’s time that is par of the worship experience.  Often children will stay during and/or participate in various aspects of worship.  

VBS

Epworth has a strong Vacation Bible School program.  Last year we served 55 children, and those numbers continue to grow.  Each year we selected a theme to help kids more deeply understand faith and the scriptures.  
We hold VBS the month of August in the evenings.  The program runs for about 2.5 hours a night and includes dinner.  
The work of VBS takes many volunteers, and much preparation.  VBS includes experiential learning, fun, and concludes with a culminating Sunday, where kids get to share what they learned during the week.  

Children's Choir

Children’s Choir is a special part of Epworth.  The children Choir usually focuses on special seasons like Christmas and Easter to prepare and perform music for special services. Our children’s choir includes children of all ages. 
Choir practices occur after church as requested by the music ministry.
