Be a Faithful Witness

Every Friday, our prayer focus is to contact a friend or friends to invite them to worship. Here are the four phases of “How can we talk about Jesus with our friends” from one of our Fall 2023 sermon series:
  1. Know Your Story with Jesus  It all starts with understanding your own journey with Jesus. Reflect on how Jesus has personally impacted your life.
  2. Validate Your Story  People want to see that your life is different because Jesus is active in you.
  3. Tell Your Story with Jesus  Avoid bragging about our church, pastor, or faith. Instead, focus on talking about Jesus. This is possible because Jesus has already worked in them, even before we invite them.
  4. Repeat Until You See Differences   When people are invited to church more than 20 times, they might consider coming.
